How Do We Determine Voice-Over Fees?

Voice-over prices are calculated specifically on a project-by-project basis. Depending on the type of service, each voice actor has a stamp fee, and we add these stamp prices to our service fee.

However, we make a healthier budget for your project in line with the following parameters. We offer a special voice-over fee offer for your brand by receiving a briefing from you on the following topics:

  1. Voice Language
  2. Content Type
  3. Stamp Fee of the Voice Actor (TL)
  4. Voiceover Text Word Number (Piece)
  5. Number of Contents (Quantity)
  6. Broadcast Medium of Voiced Content
  7. Duration for which the Voiced Content Will Stay on Air (Years)

We can explain these factors as follows:

Voice Language: It is important in which language the voice-over service is requested. Because the budget of the English voice-over service is not the same as the budget of the French voice-over service. The voice-over language affects the voice-over fee in the offers we make to brands.

Content Type: Content type is also one of the important determinants in determining voiceover prices. The price of commercial film dubbing and central dubbing, and the price of book dubbing and documentary dubbing are calculated differently.

Stamp Fee of the Voice Actor: Each local or foreign voice actor registered in our voice bank has a different stamp fee. Stamp cost varies depending on the popularity of the voice actor.

Voiceover Text Word Count: The word count of the voice-over text is very important, especially in content such as book voice-overs and educational presentation voice-overs. It is an important factor affecting the voice-over fee to be offered to the brand.

Number of Contents: Especially in commercial and promotional film dubbing, different versions of the content emerge. These resulting versions are called short versions of the parent version. For example, if the main version costs one full stamp, each of the four short versions is calculated as half a stamp.

Broadcast Medium of Voiced Content: The medium in which the voiced content will be published is important in determining the price. Television, radio, cinema, social media (digital), in-house (closed circuit), events or organizations, etc. Each of these channels is charged differently.

Voice Over Prices by Service Types

The factors we mentioned above are important when calculating the content included in the voice-over service, but not all parameters are decisive for all types of services. In other words, when determining the budget, we do not add seven of the seven parameters to the price as a factor.

For example, 'number of content' is not related to the 'book audio' service. Therefore, a price offer is prepared for this service without taking into account the number of content factors.

Voiceover prices according to service types are as follows:

Frequently Asked Questions

There are a few important details when determining the advertising voiceover prices. First of all, duration or number of words is important in advertising projects. How many minutes will the ad last, how many seconds or how many words will your voice speak. Factors such as the broadcasting channel of the advertisement are an important detail in determining the price. Advertising voiceover prices are also affected by the studio usage fee. The prices of the voice-over studio, where you pay the stamp price and perform the sound recording of the voice actor you purchased, vary according to each company.

The price that the voice actor determines for his voice in the projects is called the "stamp price" and this is a price that is entirely at the initiative of the voiceover. This cost can increase over time in direct proportion to the experience gained. In other words, if you say that your work should be voiced in the most professional way, the best, the budget you need to allocate for the stamp price will naturally increase. Special agreements between voice actors and voiceover agencies can make voice-over prices more reasonable. This is completely at the discretion of the voice-over agency. In addition, while determining the stamp prices, they are evaluated under the TV series/film category or the advertisement category. The stamp prices in the series/film category are more affordable than the commercial film voiceover stamp prices. Because commercial films are made for commercial purposes, higher budgets are spoken.

Yes it is included. Each voice-over agency has different studio expenses. Since the voice-over recordings are taken under the consultancy of the professional voice-over director, the studio fee is calculated by including the director's cost in the studio usage fee.

Dubbing and dubbing projects have different pricing. Although much more time is spent in dubbing series/films than in dubbing, artists' stamp prices are lower since they are not commercial projects. However, the dubbing market has different pricing in itself. For example, voice actor voices or rabarba voices receive lower stamps, while the voices of the leading and supporting actors receive higher stamps.

The items that most affect the voice-over budgets will be the number of broadcast channels of your projects, the broadcast time and the stamp price of the voice actor. For this reason, for the projects you want to do with a low budget, you can choose to do voiceovers with "no-name" (unheard of) voices that do not have a stamp fee and have just started their voice-over life, and you can have your work done on the lowest budget determined by the agency. In addition, the budget can be reduced by limiting the publication channels and publication times of your project.

There are different items included in the calculation of the voiceover price. For example, in advertising voiceover projects, factors such as the length of your video, how long it will be broadcast in which channels, how many seconds the voice actor will speak will affect the stamp price of the voiceover and the studio expenses. The final total cost of your project is the sum of the stamp fee and studio expenses.

There are different items included in the dubbing price calculation. In dubbing pricing, the total number of words that the character in the commercial and promotional film will speak, the importance of the character voiced by the dubbing artist in the movie (such as whether he is a lead role or not) and the stamp price of the dubbing artist are effective. While the dubbing budget is being created, factors such as broadcasting channel and broadcast time do not affect dubbing prices - as in the voice-over market.
